Driving Directions...

From the ferries....Follow the Pat Bay highway also called Hwy #17 to the McKenzie Exit ( to Sooke ) turn right onto Mckenzie Avenue... .. follow through till you turn right to hwy #1 ... stay on the #1 for a short distance to the #10 exit (junction of Hwy #14) - Sooke/Colwood Turnoff....and follow Hwy #14 to the village of Sooke...Once in Sooke go through the three traffic lights in the village Note that Sooke road becomes west coast road at the final light in Sooke. Be sure of your gas and food requirements at this time since there is none past the final light. Now travel on West Coast Road for 14km, or about 8.5mile or 12 minutes, please be aware of speed limits this is a windey ocean side road, pull over if you wish to check out the views... As you begin to near the property, you will cross over a small creek called "Tugwell Creek", in another km and the next valley you cross over "Muir Creek". (Both creeks have small signs on the roadway.) After Muir Creek continue up the hill, Craidelonna is located at the first driveway on the left (Ocean side) as you crest the top of the hill. Note: you will see two stone pillars and rock wall entrance. Please park at the parking lot provided.
